Suppose you have two matrices of 0s and 1s. ? W, where W(I,j) = 1 if person I works at company j S, where S(I,j) = 1 if person I sits on board of company j ? Then T = W¡¯S is a company by company matrix in which T(j,k) gives the number of employees of company j that sit on the board of company k.
