HI,
?
I downloaded a new version of UCINET, which I assume replaced the version of NetDraw I was using. After downloading and rebooting, I have a problem with VNA files that were loaded perfectly before the installation of the new UCINET.
?
See the attached VNA files. The "Not OK" one differs only in that it has an attribute name (in quotes) that starts with the letters "ID"... (don't has how many hours it took to figure this out!)
?
OK:
?
*node data
"Name","Code","Name and City","City","Region","Country","Resp 2018","Listed 2018","Network Data","City Size","Tenure from Survey"
?
"Person's name","1","name, town","City","Asia","","Yes","No","36","1.1 million - 5 million population","Less than a year"
?
NOT OK:
?
*node data
"Name","Code","Name and City","City","Region","Country","Resp 2018","Listed 2018","Network Data","City Size","Tenure from Survey","Ideas"
?
"Person's name","1","name, town","City","Asia","","Yes","No","36","1.1 million - 5 million population","Less than a year","Ideas"
?
Once I changed the attribute label the Netdraw read it properly again.
