Big Bluestem in downtown Champaign on Friday
One of our local contra dance bands Big Bluestem we will be playing for Friday Night Live in downtown Champaign this coming Friday July 23, from 6pm to 7pm. Friday Night Live provides free outdoor music every Friday evening during the summer. (See for more information.) They will be set up at the corner of Neil and Park, ready to play at 6pm.

Big Bluestem playing at the Rose Bowl this Sunday
Big Bluestem, one of our favorite local contra dance bands, will be playing outside at the Rose Bowl Tavern in downtown Urbana on Sunday June 20 from 7:00 to 9:00pm. The Rose Bowl does not serve food, but is happy to have you bring your own carry out -- just don't bring your own drinks! No cover, but tips are always appreciated.
