My last appeal for new sound people worked so well, I thought I would try again. Every dance we need a crew (usually of 2 people) to show up at the dance 45 minutes (30 if you are really fast), to set up the sound equipment for the band. This involves getting the equipment (via hand cart) from the storage room, setting it up and then dinking around with the balance so all instruments are in accord. For this you get FREE admission to the dance.
For new people, I schedule you with experienced hands, so you have someone to help you out. My goal is that everyone has one or two dances a term that they get to be on the 'Sound Crew'. Please email me (engwig@...) if you would like to join the elite crew.
