Our next contra dance will be this Friday, May 17 at the Channing-Murray Foundation, 1209 W. Oregon in Urbana. The band will be The Young and the Fretless with Tom Bassett, Lyle Konigsberg, Rolf Pendall and Rebecca Grosser. Kristi Emilsson will be the caller for the evening. As usual there will be a short introduction to contra dance at 7:30 and the dance will start at 8. Bring your friends to join in the fun and snacks to share at the break. I hope everyone will come out and join us for some fun music and dancing.
