There will be a special contra dance on Sunday, August 20. The dance will be in the late afternoon at the Pavilion near the Lake House in Crystal Lake Park. The dance will run from 4 to 6 p.m. and will be followed by a potluck dinner.
The Bow-Dacious String Band will be playing for part of the time. There will also be an Open Band led by Acoustic Mayhem, so bring your instruments if you would like to join in. Kristi Emilsson will be the caller.
It's going to be hot on Sunday, but it should be a fun event. I hope everyone will come out and join us.
