To celebrate his 60th birthday, which happened during our COVID hiatus, Dan Lewart will be sponsoring the dance this Friday, March 24 at Channing-Murray as his Post Factum 60th Birthday Dance. Admission will be FREE. The band will be Brenda and Friends from C-U and the caller will be Gail Hintze from Chillicothe.
In addition some folks from a group called Urbanalogue will be taking video during the dance to be shown at a later time. This may help spread the word about contra dance and promote our group. Just a heads up that you might be recorded during the dance. Of course, we'll all be wearing masks so it will be anonymous to a certain degree. ;-)
Bring your mask and water bottle and snacks to share at the break. I hope everyone will come to enjoy some great music and dancing at a FREE contra dance and wish Dan a belated happy birthday.
