For the first time since 2020 we will be holding the Chambana January Jam again next weekend. It will be held at the Channing-Murray Foundation on Saturday and Sunday, January 7 and 8. The bands will include The Resurrection Marys and Meadowhawk. The featured callers will be Lauren Peckman and Georges Augustin.
Saturday will start with some workshops at 4 p.m. and the evening's contra dance will start at 7:30. On Sunday there will be Open Waltzing starting at 9 a.m. and then a contra dance at 10.
We will still be requiring everyone to show proof of vaccination and wear a mask inside the dance hall. In addition everyone will need to take a COVID test upon arrival.
