Our August contra dance will be this Friday, August 19 at the Channing-Murray Foundation, 1209 W Oregon St. in Urbana. The band will be Acoustic Mayhem and I will be the caller for the evening. This dance will feature gender-neutral calling.
There will be a short beginner lesson at 7:30pm and the dance will start at 8. Bring your water bottle and a snack to share at the break!
We require that everyone wears a mask while inside the building and presents proof of up to date vaccination. That is the original vaccine and any boosters you are eligible for.
I hope everyone will come out and join us for some fun music and dance.
