There will be a contra dance this Friday, May 27 at the Channing Murray Foundation, 1209 W Oregon St. in Urbana. The band will be the Mean Lids with Miriam Larson, Ben Smith & Matt Turino. Gail Hintze from Chillicothe will be the caller for the evening. This dance will feature gender-free calling.
There will be a short beginner lesson at 7:30pm and the dance will start at 8. Bring your own water bottle and a snack to share at the break! It looks like the weather will be nice so we can go outside to eat our snacks.
We require that everyone wears a mask while inside the building and presents proof of up to date vaccination. That is the original vaccine and any boosters you are eligible for.
