Two years ago I had intended to sponsor a free contra dance around this time of the year for my birthday. That didn't happen, so I will be sponsoring the contra dance this Friday, April 29. The dance will be held at Channing-Murray, 1209 W. Oregon in Urbana. The band will be Too Old to be Controlled and Kristi Emilsson will be calling. There will be a beginner/review session at 7:30. The dance will run from 8-10:30/11ish. Proof of vaccination and booster required at the door and masks required while inside.
I hope everyone will come out and help be celebrate my birthday.
