The Freedom Link Group Inc. is proud to announce that we have teamed up with the company Spec5 to build a Meshtastic mesh networking system ?across the ARK-LA-TEX. We will be contacting and working with all the local hams and ham clubs to bring the final information, as soon is it is finalized by Spec5.?

The sweetest part of this is they are going to offer all equipment to build the system at their cost to us. This offer is for all clubs and organizations that go through the Freedom Link Group. All other equipment sales, like for individuals will come with a discounted price and 10% of all sales will go directly to the Freedom Link group as a donation for a non profit organization. Those proceeds will be used to purchase more equipment and up keep of installed equipment.?
This is not just an exciting opportunity for hams in the area, but for everyone in the ARK-LA-TEX. Meshtastic is a off grid texting mesh network that requires no license to use and is an open source software that has so much more to offer in technology that has not been used yet.?
