There may be special rules for the instrument you are trying to trade (such as ), but setting outsideRth should generally suffice. Unless you have to the order. In that case you also need to set conditionsIgnoreRth.
What was the TimeInForce for the order that would trigger during RTH only?
You can always experiment with orders in TWS and then use in your API client what worked for you in TWS. Any order related TWS documentation applies to API placed orders, too.
