You can call the Help Desk and have them track the messages sent between your app the IB to find out what's the problem.

I am new here and maybe is not the best place to ask, but I hope that I will get an answer. In short I have a real account with a paper trading attached to it and NASDAQ subscription. I have noticed that orders are not executed, even when I try from the TWS GUI.
Yesterday I have tried to buy/sell TSLA, on regular hours with 10k$, using MKT, SMART. I have noticed that the first trade is executed as expected( entry order ) but the second is not, it takes minutes, around 20 to get filled. How can I reliable test that the code I write is functioning if I can't even place orders using GUI ?
