I've finally been forced by IB to bite the bullet and migrate to TWS 981.
I've been previously using IBController320 (aarghh) and older TWS.

So if I don't want to be logged off if can
1 - Use IBC and Task Scheduler to log me off and on.? Kind of a pain, but one of the more important features of IBC was the ability to save my TWS settings at a specific time each day.? This saved my butt more times than I'd care to admit (accidentally delete a chart with tons of info on it, e.g.).
2 - Use the autostart feature of TWS.
???????? - Does TWS actually shut down and then auto-restart??
???????? - If so, can I turn on autosave and essentially do what IBC did for me for a lot of years?? I just have to be careful if I manually shut down TWS to check if I want the setting saved.
Is the above accurate?
