The connection step with the Java or C++ API is very similar - you just have to have "ActiveX and Socket Clients" checked and the socket port number set correctly. You'll probably also want to add "127.0.0.1" under Trusted IPs in Tws Global Configuration if its not already. Also, if theres already an API client connected you'll have to use a different client ID for the second client.?
