Diesel: Canada?
F1 Snake. I saw another post on a Toyota diesel engine. This one a 2.2L out of an 80s pick up and it was up in BC. Could these diesel machines have been exported to Canada and not the US ??

compresor Country. Run it for a few days continuous, then shut down for a day and retest. If no work, it will have to be serviced by an air- con shop. Start looking around. Maybe a near-by RV
