I was in Walmart last night and noticed that Prestone has some high end concentrated antifreeze for $17 a gallon that is guaranteed for all models of all cars.? ?Then for lesser prices ( $14)

I drove my 1982 22R around losing water for over a year, because water loss could not be diagnosed. The radiator pressure test was great.? ?Finally a Toyota engine repair mechanic? saw fine air

It looks like the plasiic petcock is bad. It's on the bottom of radiator by the bottom hose.

If it's a hose, you only need look under the motor while it's running. If
you see coolant dripping or pouring out, it's most likely a hose or
radiator leak. If you don't see coolant, check your

The chain is fine. I had it checked before. I'm hoping it's a hose that's leaking. It might be the original hoses from 87.The oil is fine and it only has 55K miles so I think the head gasket is fine.

Another possibility (if you're super unlucky and/or neglectful) is the timing chain on the 22RE
engine will stretch, rattle, and chew threw the front of the block into the water jacket.
