Todd Re: running lights.

Todd.

I started out to just repair the left tail/dir
light. One by one each light on the rear flickered
and died from moving around the splice blocks under
the truck. (little colored plastic 1" squares).

The whole experience reminded me of my old days on
the MGs and Jags with "Lucus".

I ended up, days later, Running a new wire from
the tail light fuse, thru the cabin, to the left
tail light cluster. From there I ran new wires to
inside each light fixture.

I cleaned or replaced each socket, and fixture
ground. I then took every chassis ground to
the cabin and truck, cleaned them down to the
bare metal and sealed them. Only after all this
did everything work, and I've had no further problems.
with either unit.

This light thing, if you are in the salt, can be a job
and a half. Sunrader did a poor job of sealing connections.
If you don't need those lights, IMHO I wouldn't touch them.
