You know the guy at the RV place advised the exact same thing, perhaps these
guys do know what they are doing. You will all know, after as was suggested
I use the Unit. -=dr=-

Here is a site you might want to check out for holding tanks and many
other RV parts also, they carry a large
selection of stuff and some of the harder to find parts too. Seems
everyone has there own prefered method of holding tank use, but on
the black tank I let it get near full then empty it out all at once
to help flush out the tank, by hooking up to campground sewer and
opening the black tank valve the liquid flows out and the solids pile
up making it harder to flush out, by letting it fill up the liquids
help break down the solids and the extra liquid will flush things out
better. Good luck in your tank repair venture.
