Re: *Purchasing a Toyota Camper*

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the group and found the link after doing some research on
Mexico. I've never owned a motorhome, but have always been
intrigued
by the old Toyota versions. A smaller motorhome seems
more "manageable" for me.

So, my question(s) are:

1. If I'm going to purchase a mini-home, which "version" should I
be
looking for. I've seen motorhomes under these names: Chinook,
Dolphin, Granville, Rialta, and Sunrader.

2. What are the price ranges for a used home. (I'm a graduate
student and money is an object!)

3. Which version is the "most reliable" since I'll be traveling
alone? I don't mind having it checked-out beforehand and repaired,
but don't want any "road surprises" if I can avoid them.

4. Where do I find one? (I live in the Southwest) Should I try
used RV dealers, the newspaper, etc.....?

Thanks for any help you can give me. I'd really like to find
something soon to use for Spring Break.

Zia
