1. Yes they all have fans
2. If you are going to add a second battery I would recommend replacing your
current one and installing two 6 volt golf cart batteries. You will have to
cross connect the terminals to establish 12 volt's but you will get power
equal to three normal deep cycle batteries and the six volt take drainage
allot better...You can get these batteries for around $50.00 a peace....this
is the only way to go.
3. There is a minimal amount of gas put off by the batteries, you will need
to put a small two inch louver vent in the closet...they also make battery
boxes with a vent tube installed in them.
