Then again, one would wonder why it hadn’t been run for 10 years.
Barring the issue of the 3.0 V6 being famous for very costly maintenance when needed, it seems like a good bet.
However, if the reason for the 10 years could be related to a blown head gasket for example, then one might reconsider.
The dipstick would be the place to start. If that looks unsuspicious, then put a good battery in there and see if it will turn over. If it will without issues, go to Harbor Freight and buy a leak down tester for about $25 probably, and then You Tube how to use one, and that should tell you most of the rest of the story. A compression tester is cheap at Harbor Freight too.
If it seems likely the head gasket might be blown,… that’s bad news on a 3.0.
