Yes, Rick, it's just a passive on-off thermo-controlled switch that works fine with the Hydro Flame propane furnace that came with my 1990 Sea Breeze. I like being able to see the digital temp readout without having to figure out the setting and current temp from the old original analog version that came with the furnace.
