Well, dagnabbit -- I sent the info on the correct air bags to my mechanic on Saturday, asking if he wanted me to order them off Amazon, after discussing new air bags with him on Friday afternoon. Went by today to see why he hadn't responded (and check something in the rv), turns out he'd already ordered the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate 88113's, with the "exclusive internal jounce bumper built inside of the air bag to help absord shock and prevent bottoming out." The 88113's are $134 more than the 57113's, which is irritating but not a deal breaker for me.
He'll have to pay shipping back to etrailer (which was $30 more than Amazon!), so I told him I'd ask y'all if there was a problem using the 88113, or if they are just overkill.
Thanks for all the help --- this is taking forever, as I waited three weeks for the shop to open (they had to move), then another week while everyone was on vacay for the 4th of July, and the camper keeps getting put off for other cars, so he's had it now 10 days. It's hot Hot HOT here and tempers are on the edge, so I'm taking extra care not to seem frustrated.
