Vickey, Welcome.
My mother had a 77 Chinook. It had a stove and reaf but no pooper. The popup
Chinooks are good rigs for cruzing. They get good mileage and are not as
suceptable to crosswind gusts as some of the larger toyota rvs. On the down
side they are smaller than most. I think they excell if you are doing a lot
of miles.
Best of Luck,

Hello....I just inherited a '77 Chinook. I haven't even seen it yet.
It's been sitting for quite some time but hasn't had a lot of use.
I'm hoping I can get it in working order and be able to use it this
summer. I have never owned a motorhome so I thought it might be a
good idea to join a group like this in case I need help. I have one
question to start with. I have not yet seen the home.....does it have
some kind of a porta potty in it? Frig and stove? Thanks in advance
for taking the time to answer me.
