jim, you're talking to a man who managed to get a
vw bus down to less than 10 mpg. it was easy...2 litre 4 cyl porsche motor
with?two 2 barrel webbers on 9 inch cast manifolds, big bore kit (2.3L.)
cam with 60 degree overlap, equal length headers, 12-1 compression and a sweet
port?& polish job. net result 155 hp @ 6100 rpm.

i'll admit that wasn't the most practical vehicle,
(lots of trans problems until we put a 911 box in) but pulling the front wheels
a foot off the ground in city traffic was a gas. used to love to do it at toll
booths!

in conclusion i will say that if i can live with my
1978 r 20 with a carberautor, if a 6 cyl. isn't enough, you're not a toyota
person! get a chevy...
