Hello Menon, the version displayed by the software is 0.4.5.1, and the version marked on the back is 0.4.5.1.1. We will not make such low-level mistakes, so this is a clone.

Hopefully you are still within the dispute window with Aliexpress. Check your Aliexpress account to see if you can open a dispute for illegally cloned goods. Best of luck.

I got the same model as you. also from the same seller.
You can upgrade the FW to 1.40-134. After this will fail Test 10.
Did you manage to get a refund?

I received the tiny SA as a Christmas present.
I have upgraded the fw and, as you, get the failed test 10.
Do you think it is because a clone model ?

Despite the fail, the SA looks to function.

I had used the Tiny SA- APP ( ) to upgrade the FW.
the APP doesn't find any " VNA" in DFU mode. despite I follow the "JOG button press at power On, and I heard the windows sound when the OS sees the USB device.

I am sure that the USB port and cable are OK as I can use the APP in the "normal mode" to exploit the Tiny SA

I see it is possible to reset the SA, but needs to open it. And I am afraid to do that If I need to return it. (More, as it is a present, that will not be easy to open a procedure with aliexpress)

The device may pass self-test if you down grade to the original firmware version, but the degraded performance issues will still be present.? Since you received the clone as a gift, you probably have to accept the device as is.? In addition to any observable performance issues, technical support for cloned devices is likely to be poor to none.

Rud61, Erik and Hugen have both said multiple times they will not divulge how they can spot clones. Designng, manufacturing and selling genuine TinySA products is their source of income. It would be polite for you to refrain from asking how they spot clones since these clones threaten their income.
