Was the older 405-model also upgraded to an IPS display, I remember talks about 1? year back, but not sure if it was effected in practise.
The unit most people have is likely the old TFT LCD display variant, which has TFT's infamous off-axis contrast & color-shifting, so the move to IPS LCDs is positive if it's a good IPS panel without too much glow/blooming.

Eleshop no longer has the TinySa Ultra model (non-plus) in stock. From what the people there say, the old model, ZS-405, will no longer be produced and sold? For some reason, I would prefer to be able to buy the old model.

I know it can be bought from the Zeenko store on AliExpress, but that means wasted time with customs formalities. It was preferable to be able to buy it from the European Union.

I just purchased the 406 from R&L arrived today. Mine has the same marking. My confusion is that the upper right under Zeenko is ZS-405, but S/N is SU-406-xxxx H/WV0.4.6. So did "they" forget to update the upper right?

everything should be fine with you, the older younger version is determined by the bootloader, it seems to me that there are almost no changes in the difference between the versions, the difference is not significant at all, it seems like a different display and something else, I haven't seen the insides of the older version yet, but soon someone will post a review and it will be clear. this opinion about the differences may be wrong.

Does anyone know if you can increase the audio (volume)?

Hi,
Some people use the "amplified speakers" marketed for use with computer sound systems. I use those the same way for my little QRP radios without speakers or in loud outdoor environments. Earphones or earbuds are also used by others. I hope this helps.
