In the tinySA Ultra, there is a bug in the USB interface output. Compared a signal -40dbm signal on tinySA and tinySA Ultra,
tinySA.exe and also the tinySA-App.exe (211),? => the Ultra shows level shifted up by ~ +45dbm

bug or feature - or did I mess up my settings on the Ultra ?
Wolfgang
The tinySA.exe does not automatically recognize you are using an Ultra and it does use the wrong scaling factor as herb previously explained.
tinySA-App.exe should be ok though, at least I do not see something wrong there.

...that is, what the nanoVNA 211 sotware (sorry, typo last time) sees in the 'Settings 'Firmware' field.:

? ? NanoVNA-App was written by One-of-Eleven for the nanoVNA but she also supported the tinySA to a certain extent because it's console commands, especially scanraw, were similar.? One-of-Eleven no longer supports NanoVNA-App and has released it into the public domain.? DiSlord has stepped in and updated NanoVNA-App but it does not fully support the tinySA Ultra.

? Better to use tinySA-App instead which is supported by Erik and works with both the tinySA and tinySA Ultra.

Erik & Herb,
sorry... my fault... used nanoVNA-App.exe - and not tinySA-App.exe
Still, on tinySA.exe and on 'VMA Spectrum Analyser for TinySA' there is this + 45dbm offset

Stored.csv values on the SD card showing the correct level.
A little bit tricky for the Ultra right now - as long as one is not in the self inflicted confusion, as I have been ;-)?

mea culpa gentlemen
