Erik, ? When making the most accurate measurement on the HP spectrum analyzers that I have used, the best practice was to change the reference level to bring the measured signal as close to the top grid as possible to minimize ADC conversion errors.
? Is this also a measurement accuracy consideration for the tinySA Ultra?

No, accuracy is in no way impacted by the reflevel value. The attenuation level does have an impact in avoiding compression. Other than that the 120dB range of the power detector is linear within its 0.5dB accuracy --

I haven't been able to figure out how to save a display to the SD
card. But somehow I must have accidentally done so, because when I
selected LOAD BMP, there was a filename displayed. I clicked it and
got a saved display, but it was shifted to the left, causing the
info normally on the left to (mostly) wrap around to the right side.

I just watched IMSAI Guy's video on using the SD card, and learned
to click on the SD icon to save the screen. Cool! I did so, and it
worked without the wrapping mentioned before.
Someone will surely produce a manual for this pocket miracle
eventually, and it will be a great help to many users.

The wiki is helpful, but I think something like a Dummies book with the function tree and detailed info on each function, as well as spectrum analyzer basics, would be most welcome.

?Thanks.? I forgot I’d downloaded that. It’s quite good, and it shouldn’t take too much effort to revise it to match the Ultra.

I’ve always been of the opinion that the person promoting an idea that involves significant effort to achieve should be the principle activator. Them’s that wants should do the work. ?Have at it! Dave
