still waiting for my unit to arrive but in the meantime I’m reading. I didn’t see anywhere the ability for the sw to calculate THD by measuring the peak of the harmonics say 2nd to 5th or something. Did i miss that or is that to come in the PC side software perhaps??

you can see this in the hp 3562a. Harmonic Markers. The docs are online.

These markers highlight the fundamental frequency and the first few harmonics. Then the sw can do some math on these to calculate the % THD generated by the harmonics identified or in a given range. What’s nice about this the number is THD not THD+N. I forget if the user uses the cursor to identify the peaks or if the sw detects the peaks or calculates them once the fundamental is identified.

The tinySA has a harmonic marker function?
but as there are only 4 markers I could add the calculation but you may miss many? higher harmonics.
I should be possible to do the calculation on the fly by finding all harmonics in the scan of the signal under marker 1. Let me put this on the wish list.

yeah maybe you need to limit to a fixed number of harmonics 7? 10? or limit to a frequency span range set by the user or both.
