Re: Self test
Hello Menon, the version displayed by the software is 0.4.5.1, and the version marked on the back is 0.4.5.1.1. We will not make such low-level mistakes, so this is a clone.

Re: Self test
Chances are excellent it is a clone, once you updated the SW the test failed. This has been reported for clones. Tom Sent from Mail for Windows Sent: Thursday, January 4, 2024 2:38 PM To:

Re: Self test
Erik, I just received my Tiny SA Ultra yesterday from China and decided to update the firmware before use. I updated the firmware from V1.4_109_g5cfd570 to V1.4_141_gf753dbf without any problems.

Re: Logging markers #feature_request
Herb, Thanks for the reply - I'll go ahead and play around with the RPi solution. I also had the idea of grabbing the logging data on an Android phone, but I'm a lot less familiar with that

Re: Green sweep bar at base line
Presumably the clock spurs referred to at the foot of this page are the ones that are actually now fixed with the clever clock frequency modulation Erik? Peter

Re: TinySA Ultra fails self test 3, 4, 7, 11, 14
If you have a scope you can watch the level of the 30MHz call output, it should be around -35.6dBm. If the output level is correct then it seems like the input switch is blown. See " *The input switch

Re: Green sweep bar at base line
Amazing. So the software can effectively work around the inevitable hardware limitations. Very neat. Thanks for the insight Erik. Peter.

Re: Green sweep bar at base line
Thanks Herb. That¡¯s a neat idea. Effectively slowing the sweep time to enable the sweep bar. Thanks. Peter

Re: TinySA Ultra fails self test 3, 4, 7, 11, 14
Yes, it's displaying transmissions, but also tested from my own radio with LNA enabled and disabled since I live in a remote rural area (not a lot around) to make sure and it spiked up to -20dbm.

Re: TinySA Ultra fails self test 3, 4, 7, 11, 14
You may have either blown the internal attenuator or the input switch Is the tinySA completely deaf? Connect the telescopic antenna and test with and without LNA enabled if you can see any signals --

Re: Logging markers #feature_request
Erik could possibly add timed logging of the displayed markers as he recently did for auto save of trace 1, but you would still need a PC or other device to display the logged data (the tinySA Ultra
