In my case with TinySA-APP connected to the TinySA (now with firmware V1.3-513), and on continuous sweep, ?when the USB Comms is paused the TinySA-APP screen is frozen and the TinySA screen is ¡®live¡¯

?

After 20 minutes the TinySA screen is still active, and TinySA-APP connected, whenever I change to Un-Paused the APP runs OK.

?

My guess is that maybe this isn¡¯t the test condition you were expecting ?

Erik,

unfortunately - all this points into the same direction:

39.452 rx: scanraw 118000000 136000000 450
39.780 rx: 1352 bytes received
39.784 rx: ch>

39.811 rx: vbat

Check the spec of the attenuator

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

But on 146 MHz the attenuation may be different...

Dne 10.12.2022 v 15:16 Erik Kaashoek napsal(a):

You can check your attenuator using the tinySA.
Connect CAL and RF using a short SMA cable
Then set MODE/CALIBRATION OUTPUT/30MHz
Write down the measured level of the 30MHz signal
Insert your 40dB attenuator between CAL and RF
Write down the measured level of the reduced 30MHz cal output and calculate the real attenuation.

Once paused, and window closed, it looks like it goes back to un-paused

?

When the comms window is opened again it resumes to paused

In my case, after I paused the Comms window, I closed it, assuming that it would stay paused...the App then ran for about 7 minutes before the freeze....maybe I am the 'stupid" one!

Can you guys connect tinySA-App,
open the VNA comms window (click on the USB symbol) and click on "un-paused" so the text becomes "paused" and try if continuous sweep will still hang?

Re: TinySA Ultra - Hardware version "unknown"

I installed the 513 this morning.
Oh, I think there is anywhere a thing what prevent the display. I switched on the sinysa now, and there is v0.4.5.1
Before powering off a fiew minutes ago ther was written "unknown" as the screenshot of Paulo. I have done level corrections in the last hour. Maybe there will be called anything, what preventing to display the version number.
