Two things:

DC Decouple the SA from the prescribed test point and assure the level of injected signal is well below the max of the SA input.? That will trace the BPF shape as the injected signal is swept through the BPF.? I don't have one, yet, but if it has a max hold, that would be appropriate as you sweep the injected signal.

Splitting discussions can make things more difficult to find - I think we see
that - at least to a degree - in the multiple "nanoVNA" groups.? Perhaps the
concept of "spectrum analyser" is more familiar to folk with modern equipment
already incorporating spectra and waterfalls.? Erik's videos help a lot, too.
The cost doesn't justify the gain.

Mine arrived from R&L on Friday. The display seems to be in perfect alignment. Haven't done much with the Ultra yet, but I'm looking forward to running it through its paces.

Virtually ANY addition to the Subject line is fraught with potential errors. ?groups.io allows one to interact using many platforms, email and webpage and several different message viewing and responding methods (Digest, individual, etc.). ?Many people change the Subject line to meet their own needs. ?Unfortunately, this results in a NEW thread being created, so message threading forks to another branch. ?If some folks add a word like Ultra in the Subject line as an identifier and not everyone follows that style, you end up as we are now.

Once you understand the workings of a vector network analyzer, going from one model to another, even the "professinal" models ($$$$), this is no longer an issue.? Spend the time to learn the VNA, and you won't have that problem.?

Why not just put "Ultra" somewhere in the subject line, so in an instant everyone will know which device the email is about? If it's not there, then everyone knows you are referring to the original. Easy-Peezy!

groups they use the # sign in the subject to indicate which
devices/versions the message is for. #ultra for example. More than
a few list members don't understand or use those just as some
would post to the wrong group or thread even if there is a
