Changes:
- Corrected a rounding error in the level calibration causing up to 1dB level error

Due to a data format change you will lose your configuration information. If you have made any changes you should redoc these after updating.
Both high and low mode level calibration should be re-done using either the built-in calibration source or an external known level signal.
The calibration error off factory should be less then 2dB so after this FW update your levels should be within 2dB without calibration.

I assume the VAT hurt but the "etc" hurt more. How much does DHL charge in "brokerage" (or whatever) fees in the UK?

My TinySA arrived today. I unpacked it in front of the DHL driver while he waited as I told him, it it was damaged I wanted to show him. It came in a TyVAC envelope inside a TYVAC envelope. Then 1 wrap of small bubble, and a brown cardboard box. Inside it was wrapped again in small bubble wrap, and the presentation box was perfect. I signed and went inside. I had read that you need to check it before signing. And I did.

I immediately put it on a charger 5V @ 0.240A measured.. In 2 hours it was fully charged. I took it over to a friend to show him, and found the only negative so far..

THE SCREEN IS TOTALLY WASHED OUT IN KANSAS SUNLIGHT.

Yet in my truck it was readable on the dash..? So if planning to use it in the field better devise a "viewing box."

Now time to read everything about it..as my intention is to first do some cable leakage testing in the area.

Make sure to run selftest!

Quick check with a few sig gens and certainly responsive.

1: Is clear. It will depend on available memory. Not sure yet
2: Occupied bandwidth is clear. Specify center freq and channel width and calculate the power inside and outside channel. probably use maxhold to get the curve.

?1.? I would envision the editable transducer factor table being similar to your level correction table.? The main difference would be a menu option allowing the user to enter up to 9(?)? freq/value pair that are added to the displayed values as conversion or correction factors.? There may not be sufficient memory in the firmware to allow this with all the other features you have provided.? The other problem would be changing the display units, if say, the factors converted units from dBuV to dBuA.? Maybe something to consider adding to TinySA.exe instead.

2. The automated occupied bandwidth measurement is a feature one of my club members demonstrated on Siglent spectrum analyzer.??Occupied bandwidth measurements are used to measure the power of the occupied channel as a percentage to the power of the channel.? I 'm not sure what algorithm was used for the measurement. Jim Allyn?has a Siglent specan and might be able to shed light on the measurement procedure.?

???? I have a Siglent spectrum analyzer I bought recently, and the tinySA has features that the Siglent doesn't have.? I can add some of those features, if I want to spend 500 dollars to purchase the firmware options.? Erik has done an amazing job of adding features to the tinySA!

Feel free to continue suggesting improvements. Sometimes I need feedback from multiple people to spend time on things that are useful but I'd rather avoid (such as updating the wiki, or changing colors of items on the status panel)
The feedback and requests from the beta testers have been tremendously useful.
W.r.t discussions started by suggestions, I would kindly request to "build" on suggestions e.g. improve on them.
Any suggestion is a personal view and has to be respected even if it seems ridiculous. If the latter, simply ignore.
I may react to requests or not. Don't read anything in me not reacting. I may be busy.
If you are (repeatedly) requesting something and no other people build on it, it may be something relevant for you, but not (yet) for the broader community. Which is not a problem, just something to be aware of

? ? A wishlist is not a demand, nor does it show a lack of appreciation.? I worked with Erik on the beta team and he knows I have the highest respect for both him and his work.? Erik is next to brilliant when it comes to squeezing features into the tinySA and has always welcomed suggestions that help the tinySA distinguish itself from the crowd.? If a requested feature isn't possible or lacks merit, he will not hesitate to let you know - and in most cases explain why.

? ?If there are no additional features you think can help to improve the tinySA then I'm happy for you.? If someone else makes a suggestion that they believe will improve the tinySA's marketability than you should leave it up to Erik to decide if the suggestion has any merit, and not assume the person making the suggestion? is "grumbling or showing lack of appreciation".

I used the tinySA to debug dbv-c signal quality on my cable distribution. Easy to spot bad splitters or overload due to amplifiers

Thanks again EriK. I can't see how he can do it, but the important thing is that he does it. 30dB is not a panacea but it is pretty good. In a TV antenna installation the decoding will be satisfactory with 30dB C / N ratio and normally we will not find much more than that. Therefore, we could use the tinySA as a "poor man's field meter" for amateur use, with portability and value for money, unbeatable price.

To Eric and Dave, and others,

As an amateur and hobbyist in radio and electronics for 60 years, I?have?spent thousands on professional kit in the past, played with it, learned a lot but it has mostly lain idle for the last decad or two for lack of benchspace and time.

If I was honest, I doubt that I could get better results below 300mhz from all the professional stuff that I could not do with the current Tinysa, with the exception of ssb imd measurements (for which I can use a ?15 rtlsdr or rsp1). I could not walk around with a boatanchor for tracing qrm/qrn either.

The arrival of the nanovna family and Tinysa will transform my hobby. As I have said in a previous post, a uhf- only (300-mhz to 3ghz) version of the Tinysa would allow me to also play with low band wifi, newer phone bands etc.

Erik, on behalf of a silent majority, thank you for all your dedication in producing something pretty amazing. Whatever the limitations of the Tinysa, it's far far superior to not having one.

Is that high input mode mirror supression “ tweakable”, (eg with a balancing variable capacitor), or tiny twists of enamelled wire?
