Source for TinySA antenna please

Hi all, Erik.
I've been looking all over Amazon and other places but can't seem to find a source for the small antenna that comes with the TinySA. Any chance someone here would have a link to a source for that antenna? The ones I've found are much longer, some with screw mounts, F fittings, and a few with SMA male. I would like to get a couple of spares just in case. I have two TinySAs that are originals and they are working great. All updates so far are good.
Thanks!

I am told that the higher priced units from SEESII or AURSINC are good ones.
Can anyone confirm if either of these are good and not clones?
I bought mine from Seesii in October and it was a genuine unit.?

Herb,

?

Ah ha! That did the trick.? I did not understand that one can bring up the by menu pressing the Jog Switch down and then use it to navigate to ¡°Touch¡±>> ¡°Touch CAL¡±.? I used the stylus to rerun the CAL procedure.

?

Thank you for your help.? Now back to reading the manual and watching You-Tube to learn more.? Hopefully, I won¡¯t blitz it this time.

Doug,
? ?Are you trying to select by depressing the jog switch or using a stylus?? If its with the jog switch, then I'm not sure why the menu goes away unless your firmware is corrupted and needs to be reloaded.

? If you are trying to select using a stylus, then after you bring up the menu by depressing the jog switch, you need to navigate to the CONFIG menu using the jog switch (left or right as appropriate).? When you have navigated to the CONFIG menu depress the jog switch to select it and then navigate to the TOUCH menu and select it by depressing the jog switch.? Now you should be able to perform a touchscreen calibration using your stylus.

I tried this, loosening the screws and pressing the Jog button, this does bring up the main menu, but as soon as I try to select something the menu goes away.? Still can¡¯t use the unit.

?

Any other suggestions?

?

Thanks

You can restart the touch calibration using the jog button

But first losen the housing screws a bit as it is possible the front part presses on the touch screen which makes calibration impossible

New user - tinySA Config-Touch Cal failure #tinysa

I used TinySA yesterday and self-calibrated it. All test were okay except one (I think it was #7 or #8) Today, I was watching the Erik Kaashoek You-Tube video called "tinySA Config and Expert Config Menu".? The first demo on the video was setting the Touch CAL. When I selected "Touch CAL" nothing happened, I clicked it a few times more and it the top-left hand calibration box came up.? I clicked that, but the second bottom-right hand box did not appear. So, I went back to the main menu, but now I could not bring it up by touching the right side of the screen. I found out, after repeated touches to the left top of the display, that I could bring up the main menu, but now when I selected any item on the menu, the entire menu disappeared.

Now, I have no menu control at all. Has anyone experienced difficulty calibrating the display?? Is there any fix for this, or should I send it back?? As far as I can tell the $100+ tinySA purchased from Amazon.com is not a knockoff. All the pictures on the tinySA website check out, as well as the serial number.

Thanks for any assistance.

Doug

I bought mine from R&L , ?hassle free correct unit fair shipping time. ?Just didn¡¯t seem worth hassle to me to get the wrong one and have to return and keep gambling on getting the correct unit from Amazon. ?I have tried to follow these questions on group and so far as I know R&L Electronics is only US dealer with the ¡°original/legit¡± TinySA?

www.randl.com?

Usual disclaimers apply, I have no financial interest in R&L I am simply a happy customer for 28+ years.?

Enjoy, for the money this thing is a heck of a lot of fun! ?Worth every penny! ?Like many I would gladly pay $30 more for a much larger screen say 5¡± or even 7¡± I am a couple years into the ¡°over 40¡± crowd and everything I was told as a young man sure seems to be true! ?Hit 40 and it can sure be hard to see the 2.8¡± screen. ?

The only sellers with hard agreements on sourcing are listed here under Safe Places to Buy:?
Any other seller may decide to switch to selling clones at any time.

Why not buy from? R&L?

Re: New FW release: Solved hangup in low output mode

What I had in mind was to be able to go as low as 60 Hz to fully encompass the CTCSS tones used for 2 meter ham repeater systems.

Awesome!? I just installed the new version and verified that it no longer locks up when going between the setting screens.? I wonder if there any possibility of enabling FM modulation frequencies of <100 Hz in a future update.

1) Judging by the sound on an FM receiver, when I input lower modulation tones such as 123 Hz etc I am assuming it uses a square wave, since the overtones are quite prominent. Is that correct?
The modulation is actually an 8 step approximation of a sinus so yes, there are overtones.

2) When going back and forth between the screens to change the frequency and modulation the unit quickly locks up and no longer is responsive, so I have to power cycle it.? Is that a typical behavior?
This is a new bug introduced in the latest FW. I can reproduce it so I hope to solve it soon.
