Re: Remote Connection via USB over TCP/IP?
Thanks for posting that, Stan, a really neat way of doing things, not to mention re-using an old phone! BTW: if you "attach" the images rather than inline you /may/ get better quality results, but

Zoom on display
I'm viewing a signal from a transmitter and am getting strength readings in the neighborhood of -6odB. ?Is there a way to zoom in on the display to see just the range from -40 to -80 dB?

Re: Remote Connection via USB over TCP/IP?
Sorry about the poor quality photos in my prior post - groups.io is resizing them.? Let me know if you need better resolution and I can send it directly.

Re: Remote Connection via USB over TCP/IP?
(re-posting with better resolution pictures) This is what I have done for a simple WIFI wireless connection (see photos). I used an old cell phone (no SIM) which connects to my home WIFI network, and

Re: What to do when a selftest fails
It was not possible to go to next screen, at the screen where it stopped ( test 3 )? - once I touch screen it just exited test. But somehow I did manage to calibrate it. As before I did RESET

Remote Connection via USB over TCP/IP?
I'm planning an experiment with my TinySA Ultra and wonder if anyone here has already tried this? I want to physically connect my TSA-U to an inexpensive dedicated hardware USB 3 to TCP/IP server at

Re: What to do when a selftest fails
Tnx for replaying, it is not because of that as I was using the same cable, just in case. So I first did test with that cable and that device failed, then put cable on second device that has passed

Re: What to do when a selftest fails
It seems your 2nd device is missing only the cable between CAL and RF. The connection is neccesary for testing and calibrating.

Re: Two tone sig gen / feature request
Not with my SweepGen. Each tone is independently generated, with one on the left channel and the other on the right. A simple resistive network will give the desired two-tone signal. 73, David

Re: Two tone sig gen / feature request
Hi Jeff, It is a bit confusing, as the original question was "in the signal generator is there an option for a two tone output suitable for testing SSB transmissions?" As the TinySA cannot generate

Re: Two tone sig gen / feature request
I am somewhat confused by this thread. The original request was for 2 tones at RF for Rx IP3 testing etc, but now it has diverged into 2 tones at audio (which might be ok for inputting into a

They are nice little recorders. I now have three DR-05 and two DR-05x. The first x was an eBay find that had a known wiring error on one of the mics. The 2nd x I bought cheap on eBay because it had a

Hi Jim, Wow, thought I was the only that had a Tascam di recorder. Mine is a DR-05. Just wish it had the ability to charge in the recorder, but it is very useful. Mike C. Sand Mtn GA

Being basically frugal, I used Audacity to "build" a five minute wav file conisting of two appropriate sine waves and saved it as a mono track to the SD card in my Tascam digital audio recorder. It
