Re: TinySA Ultra and TinySA App
¿ªÔÆÌåÓý? From time to time, in the TinySA-App comms window, maybe every 4 or 5 minutes, there seems to be slight blip in the way that the window is updated, normally new lines appear at the bottom, but occasionally most of the window is cleared, new lines appear after the few lines left at the top of the screen, and then once the new lines fill the screen it begins scrolling up again, new lines inserted at the bottom of the window ? Just mentioning it as I am not sure if it is a sign of there being some form of a processing speed related issue, maybe related to vbat ? However, once the problem occurs it seems that the TinySA is the party that has suffered, it has to be restarted, ?the TinySA-App doesn¡¯t need a reboot, it is ready to carry on as soon as the TinySA is reconnected. ? Re: Feature to measure 3 frequencies in a mixer.
#feature_request
Hi, Erik,
The proposed feature might be actual for the #ultra, a kind of composite spectrum, with 2...3 discrete frequency spans (bands) displayed simultaneously on the screen. Kind regards, Alex |
Re: TinySA Ultra and TinySA App
Erik,
? ?I don't know if it helps, but I do not get a serial disconnect when continuously running (>1hr + switching focus) the "tiny Spectrum Analyzer" application with my tinySA Ultra. ? This seems to indicate that the problem is related to a buffer overrun problem in tinySA-App as you first suggested. Since tinySA-App was modified from an application originally written by another programmer, tracing the serial comms logic may take a bit of detective work from you. ? The "tiny Spectrum Analyzer" application might be a workable solution for users who want to use their pc to perform a continuous scan using tinySA Ultra until the issue with tinySA-App is solved.? The "tiny Spectrum Analyzer" application was written by you before the tinySA Ultra was a gleam in your eye and doesn't accept center frequency entries above 1GHz. Herb |

Re: TinySA Ultra - Hardware version "unknown"
I installed the 513 this morning.
Oh, I think there is anywhere a thing what prevent the display. I switched on the sinysa now, and there is v0.4.5.1 Before powering off a fiew minutes ago ther was written "unknown" as the screenshot of Paulo. I have done level corrections in the last hour. Maybe there will be called anything, what preventing to display the version number. -- Klaus, DL5KV |
