Have you tryed pushing the jog switch down and to the side while turning the tinySA on? Then doing a firmware update? Clyde KC7BJE?
well i tried a bunch of firmware versions
?
the early ones flashed and produced either a blank screen or static
the later versions flashed and produced the same symptom as before (system frozen)
?
the following is a list of some of the versions i tried
?
I suppose I'm now the proud owner of a fancy brick (unless there are other ideas)

LOW and HIGH connectors are TinySA BASIC only and should not be confused with the RF and CAL connectors of the TinySA Ultra.?
The Ultra has a switch IC to steer the various internal inputs and outputs to the RF connector.?

Does this mean CONFIG->MORE->CLEAR CONFIG, Unit must be recalibrated?

I can say that if you buy from R&L Electronics, you can absolutely be guaranteed of getting a legitimate unit. I have purchased a TinySA, a TinySA Ultra and a NanoVNA H4 from them. All are excellent. I have purchased many other things from this company, too, and I am very happy with them.

I did buy from Zeenko so that much is ok. The unit is the base Ultra model. It accepted the update code from the wiki and it happily made squiggly things after ;-)? I did see the production date as Feb 24. It connected to my windows workstation no problem but I wasn't familiar enough with it to make bigger squiggly things...
I haven't tried a update and complete self test yet.? Hopefully can do that today.
I am curious about the rampant clones, did that happen after getting a company to do boards or units? I have heard quite a few stories of designs walking out the back door and getting built in the shed and sold as originals (not mentioning country but you know where).
Looking forwards to working with this.

Mine came in a nice TinySA black box and the unit itself looked like nice quality along with all the components that were included. Being new to this I wonder if the authenticity can be done by the serial number thru a PM so not to deseminate the information?.

P.S. Another issue with same feature: when disabling band element, name in menu replaced with frequencies, and name on screen became start frequency.

Not sure if github is in use.
Here is a copy:?
I created multiband config for all 8 slots and named each slot. after saving BANDS->SD, i have found, what xxx.bnd file does not have any names inside. Of course, loading bnd file back confirm this issue. All slots named as tx1,rx1,tx2,rx2, etc.
Please fix this issue and store band name in "bnd" file. Thanks!
