I'd try a different card.

Unfortunately, uSD cards tend to be pretty fragile and can easily become corrupted.

There are various SD card recovery tools (normally used for digital photos), if you want to try and save some of your previous captures.

Reformatting may make the card usable again, but you will lose the existing data.

Hi. Help please.

I’ve had my genuine Tiny CT Ultra for a couple of weeks now. All going extremely well until today.
I have been saving/loading settings and captures to the supplied SD card from the start with no problems.

Today I wanted to copy a capture shot to my pc. So put the SD into my PC and it was recognised normally (I am used to inserting micro SD cards regularly so I know the card reader is good). Yet if look onto the card in W10 there’s no files visible except a uupd.bin 32,768 KB dated 10/12/2012

It was apparently working fine and there was a few captures etc saved and visible on the card until before I pulled it out of the TInySA. (Yes I did shut down the TInySA BEFORE pulling the card)
Now when I put it back into the Tiny SA the SD symbol lower left goes green as is normal but if I try to load or save it comes up with No Card.?

If I view the card properties in W10 it shows File system FAT. Free space 1.86GB
I tried saving a small file to the SD on my PC. It appeared to save ok, but when I reinserted the SD into PC the file was gone.

So it looks like the few files I had on the card are lost unfortunately. What should I do now? Format the card? Try another SD card? If so what format file system should I use to prepare the new SD card. Is there a card format command on the Tiny SA Ultra?

Any advice welcome please. I don’t want to experiment blindly and risk making things any worse. TINY SA Ultra appears to be working normally, but now refuses to see the card.

Tried adding multiple votes, but it doesn't seem possible.

All analysers are out of calibration, but there is a trend towards being slightly low of -35.0 dBm

-35.57 dBm on a Rigol DSA815

I looked at the calibration output on an oscilloscope and saw a square wave with a glitch every 13.8ms. See scope capture attached.

Big thanks to all for your inputs on this. It makes total sense to use something that is calibrated and validated for our medical device testing.
I just developed a test system and did not design it for Tx power measurement so do not have room in my test rack for a 2U spectrum analyzer but I will use one of the other RF devices pointed in the replies to see if I can use it.?

It is such a great tool to understand and design the tests..loving it being able to control it using Labview too for my testing

Resolution - what is the smallest increment that can be measured

I remember back to about 1987 when Mike Humphrey (Uncle Mike) developed a PC interface and software to consult small community power utility companies. At the time he said it cost him around $400K to make his software and hardware legit.? He said it was strictly in the cost of doing business and the costs get passed to the customers.? Think about that for a few minutes and look at what we have at our fingertips.....? everything but the cert.? ? ? Now, you can still pick up used but certified equipment, usually sold by the cal houses,? maybe for like $5-6k.? Short term - rent it!? ?Equipment rentals are usually in a separate part of the general ledger in moderate to large manufacturing companies and there may be inventory, tax and other financial incentives for doing this.?

Two days ago google pushed a security patch to my phone, Android 13.? ?It gives support for WIFI 7 which is said to implement in 2024 with up to 6GHz capability.? So as has already been said you cannot predict changes in technology 20 years ahead.? (No DeLorean here)

The spectrum analyzers I am familiar with may have a resolution of 0.1 dB but the accuracy of the measurement is much worse than this so the measurements won’t be useful to you.

Pressing or moving left/right cancels the running slow "scanraw", but it would be very useful if I could also do this by sending a serial command.
