Spliting into groups doesn't make sense to me.
Erik has created hashtags for #tinysa and #ultra and it makes sense to try to use those to identify relavence of messages. Groups.io allows "muting" tags so that people can filter the messages they see.
I say "try" to use hashtags because I suspect that many aren't even aware of the concept. But then I expect that the same would be true if an attempted was made to identify messages with simple word tags.

Mike,
It's as Gary says:? "As long as the TinySA and TinySA Ultra remain basically
the same I see no need to artificially separate the discussions about the two.".
Splitting discussions can make things more difficult to find - I think we see
that - at least to a degree - in the multiple "nanoVNA" groups.? Perhaps the
concept of "spectrum analyser" is more familiar to folk with modern equipment
already incorporating spectra and waterfalls.? Erik's videos help a lot, too.
The cost doesn't justify the gain.
Cheers,
David
