was designed and built in Loveland, Co., not in spectrum analyzerville in
Sonoma County, Ca.  The Lovelandites had to get permission from the
Sonomaites to do it.  And.....they had to promise it would not "look like"
an o'scope.  So, the 3585 has a very different pedigree than the rest of
the HP SA line.
