I am sorry that you mis-interpreted my response. Based upon my experience, of the hams that I know they have a thirst for knowledge about many things. I would think that is a good thing. So what if they?want to buy a product that they may know nothing about.?

With the fraternity decreasing in numbers we need all the support that we can get. Don't you remember when you knew absolutely nothing about spectrum analyzers, or were you born with the ingrained knowledge? I'll bet?certainly?not, you had to learn all of?the?details one way or another.

I am sure that sometime in your life you asked what others thought were "stupid questions". I certainly have So I would not have made a general statement as you did below. Perhaps you should have phrased it differently.
