I prefer the use of well defined high pass filters. Most basic notch filters also have notches at harmonically related higher frequencies and will mess up the test result. The loss of those harmonic related notches often varies greatly over frequency. High pass filters can often be found for pennies at auction sites.?

I know, a lot of people balk at spending money for accessories to the TinySA that in the end cost as much if not more than the instrument itself. Our corporation spends hundreds of thousands of dollars on test equipment every year, but it spends at least twice that amount on accessories like armored cables, attenuators, adapters, filters and transitions.
