The accuracy of the Ultra's corrected measurements, when tested against a number of other RF generators owned by other beta testers, i still amazes me at what a wonderful job he did.

? I looked up the data on the Q5 Signal synthesizer and it appears to be pretty much the MAX2870 evaluation board without any additional firmware for level correction.? The mystery continues as to why your two Ultras measure the output of the Q5 synthesizer differently above 1GHz, but I strongly suspect that if you were measuring the output of a calibrated RF sinewave generator the deviation for both Ultras would be in-line with Erik's design goals.
