Re: tinySA Ultra firmware upgrade #ultra

Vitaliy, OK, so you are unwilling to install drivers on Windows because of its stability problems.? And you are unwilling to install Linux on your computer.? There is another solution: run Linux from a USB stick, and update your tinySA from there.? I have done this and confirmed that it works.? (I usually update my tinySA from Linux Mint which I have installed on the hard drives of all of my computers, so I know that updating the tinySA from Linux works and is easy.) ? I used antiX Linux because it's one of the smaller Linux distributions to download and write to a USB stick.? If your computer isn't already set up to boot from a USB device, it would require that you change the boot order of your computer.? This would affect nothing else on your computer.? The only thing that would change is that when you boot your computer, instead of automatically booting from the hard disk, it would check to see if there was a USB stick to boot from.? Finding none, it would boot normally.? Your computer may already be set up this way - a lot of computers do automatically check for an alternative boot device: a USB stick, a DVD, whatever.? IF you would be willing to boot your computer to Linux from a USB stick to update your tinySA, I or others here can help you do that.? Are you interested?
