I just sent a link for a TAG slide on eBay. I am curious where this pic was taken. It could be the crossroads at Cooper Heights or perhaps even Flintstone near the Yates Bleachery? There
Is just not enough of the background for me to be positive. This would be a tremendous image if the slide didn¡¯t have condition issues. I have bought slides taken by this same person that were taken at the same time/railfan trip where he took this one. I am not sure if he didn¡¯t have a good camera or if his exposure was just not set correctly. But if you choose to bid, be forwarded the slide will be less than perfect. Otherwise a long northbound freight with all five TAG diesel¡¯s pulling. If the bid doesn¡¯t get stupidly high I may bid but I have a pic of this same train at another point.

For the record, if I were a betting man, I would bet Cooper Heights. There is a gentle curve near Yates and I see no evidence of it. If anyone has an opinion I sure would love to hear it.?

Here is a pic made near Yates in the C&C era. You can see the curve. In order for the image to be Yates the train would have had to have been blocking the bleachery.?

Again a C&C era pic but I believe this is the same spot as the 1969 shot on EBay. This is a circa 2008 shot of the last run north after the latex plant closed. The kudzu and other overgrowth obscure the mountains in the background.
