Can someone please tell me about this L&N covered Gondola? It looks very similar to TA&G and Southern cars that were in the Republic Steel car pool. The cradles and covers for the TA&G and Southern cars were evidently a Republic design. Could this be a car that L&N had dedicated to Republic? I have searched in vain for a complete roster of an L&N car of this type.? ??
