Dear beta tester,

I am happy to announce we have our first beta version to cycle. This version 2.5.1 includes various fixes and improvements. Please note that you can install the new beta version while also having use of the current release build. I would like to encourage you all to start using the beta build in your production areas, and in the event, that?it fails to do something as before please report it. ?One of the main objectives with this upcoming version is stability so please ensure to keep all feedback and bugs reported through the TactileVIew groups.io channel.

Download the beat version from the following link. You will need to extract the file and run the application file to start the installation. To ensure you have successfully installed the version, you can simply visit the About options within Tactileview and confirm it states version 2.5.1.02.

At any time, you divert to using the current release version if the current beta version is experiencing difficulties trying to accomplish the task at hand. Both versions can be used side by side avoiding any further delay in your production.

I have attached the release notes for further review but in summary, this version includes:

?

• Braille after ink printing mode – This enhancement allows you to print and emboss on the same sheet for those that do not have a two-in printer/embosser. This is a brand-new enhancement, and so further testing is required on this. For this to work, you will need to have a printer and an embosser that shares the same paper size. For example, Index Everest can handle A4 sheets of paper. Would not be compatible with tractor-feed embossers.
• Improved Polygon and curve tool – We have introduced various methods of creativity on the Polygon and curve tool.
• UEB integration in equation editor and graph creator tool – Would appreciate testing in this area amongst our braille math gurus put there.
